Purpose: After submitting its Beach Protocol Report to the City in August 2007, the committee is working with the Councilor to implement the recommendations. Please see the Reports.

Mandate: The Residents’ Beach Committee was an outcome of the Constance Bay Village Plan (approved by City Council in May 2006) to address the concerns documented in the Plan, to explore possible solutions, to prepare recommendations for the issues, and to present them to residents.

Membership: At the request of the councilor, he meets with a subset of the committee. Some of the contact people are listed below along with other active members who are committed to keep working on implementing the recommendations. The names and involvement of members over the life of the committee are in the Minutes.

Meetings and Input: The committee meets monthly at the Community Centre. Dates and times of future meetings are in the Minutes. Residents who want to get on the agenda for a meeting should contact the Chair. Residents can also share their ideas, suggestions and concerns with the committee by contacting the members below.
